This document last reviewed August 21st, 2018.This document covers how to configure a network printer for use on a Mac running OS-X 10.10 (Yosemite) up through 10.15 (Catalina). How do I release a print job at an Multi-Function Printer (MFP) from Tiger-Print/TigerPrintMAC?
Make sure the uniFLOW MacClient is running.NOTE: There is no option to print directly to an MFP, you will always need to print using the TigerPrintMac option. The following steps will need to be done each time you want to print a document to a campus Multi-Function Printer (MFPs). Navigate to Applications, then uniFLOW and select the MacClient an click the Add button. To set it up so that the uniFLOW client starts when you log in you need to do the following:.(This is a percent sign followed by lower case letter i) Change the value of "uniFLOW User:" to the following:.Click on this uniFLOW Mac Client icon, and select "uniFLOW user: %u".A new icon will appear at the top-right in the "task area".If prompted what to do with the installer select the Move to Trash option.Click Close when it tells you the installation was successful.
Click OK when informed the Configuration has finished. When asked to Enter local printer queue, enter the following value:.It still work the same as the Tiger-Print windows option.)
This is because Macintosh has to use a different print mechanism than windows systems. (NOTE: There are not spaces, and yes it is different from the Tiger-Print option you see on windows computers.
